Semá:th Elementary Closed Thursday, December 11, 2025.

The City of Abbotsford issued an evacuation order for the neighbourhood surrounding Semá:th Elementary due to flooding and the potential for further risk.

As a result, Semá:th Elementary will be closed Thursday, December 11, 2025. No students, staff, or community members will be permitted on site. Please do not attempt to attend the school for any reason until further notice.

We know this is a stressful and uncertain time for many families. Your safety and well-being remain our highest priority. Please continue to follow all directions from emergency officials, stay safe with your loved ones, and take care of one another.
